I HAVE A DREAM!!!

Although the majority of what I post here won’t be dreams of mine involving ice cream, I feel that it is only fitting that the first posting be just that; an actual (day) dream involving ice cream.  Lots of it!  So plug in your night lights, close your eyes and enter the fantastical mind that is me, Indulge Tim.

Do you remember the excitement you felt when you were in high school? Walking down the halls en route to the cafeteria until you eventually found your usual spot at your usual table and then just…waiting. Waiting as your heart pounded out of your chest.  Waiting as your eyes shifted side-to-side and front-to-back.  Waiting as you clutched your six-pack of Jell-O Pudding in one hand and the frame of the table in front of you with the other. Waiting…waiting…waiting for that one brave person to shout,”FOOD FIGHT!!!”   Do you remember that?!  Man-oh-man! There are so many things I would do and people I would kill to re-live those moments.

Now you might be wondering how ice cream enters the dream-o-sphere. Well let me tell you! I have an ice cream dream!

I have an ice cream dream that half the population of dreamy Cambridge, ON is united together in the parking lots outside the Indulge Ice Cream Caboose in Galt or along Queen Street in Hespeler!
I have an ice cream dream that each and every Dreamer has an equal number of ice cream scoops by their sides! Scoops that they paid for with a generous donation to a very important charity!
I have an ice cream dream that no one Ice Cream Dreamer is safe from the wrath of those Dreamers surrounding him/her!
I have an ice cream dream that a massive ice cream fight will take place that would only be Guinness World Record worthy!
I have an ice cream dream that millions of balloons will shade the Dreamers and their ice cream!
I have an ice cream dream that a live DJ will be spinning the hits of yesterday and today!
I have an ice cream dream that Cambridge City Councillors will be jumping on board with huge smiles while they pat me on the back for being so awesome!
I have an ice cream dream that Firefighters will be on site to give the kids an electrifying water show as they wash away the aftermath of such an epic battle!
I have an ice cream dream!
I even went so far as to call Cambridge City Counsillor, Donna Reid, who was excited about the idea and more than happy to help me out and contact the appropriate people.  She called me back within days to inform me that the GRCA didn’t want any foreign substances entering the rivers and that the fire department didn’t want to get involved for a number of reason.  All totally understandable.  For real though.  No sarcasm. It makes total sense in the conscious world.
I HAD an ice cream dream.
